Glitter Magic is a band which has six years of existence, its current line-up is: Rhee Charles (vocais), Mauri Moore (Guitarra), Luqui di Falco (Guitarra), Glux (baixo) e Andy Ravel (bateria). Their music is a mixture of styles, synthesizing perfectly the new wave of Hard Rock along with elements from Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal and 80’s Hard Rock, resulting in a different and original Debut-album, called “Bad For Health”.
This material is an energetic, melodic and straight 10 tracked album without technic juggle. 
It might be enjoyable for Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal and 80's Hard Rock fans. 


The lyrics are about daily situations, human relations and the Rock and Roll lifestyle. 
Such hedonistic lyrical content gives the title to “Bad For Health”. 
The title-track takes the listener to Rock and Roll nights and everything else they might offer as sex, drunkenness and sleepless nights. All these things are combined in this aggressive and fast song, showing Pantera and Avenged Sevenfold clear influences. 
Highlight on “The Dreamer’s Disease”, a song that possesses heavy melodies and a dense lyric about the dreams we have to leave behind due to life’s course, and how much it might give us a frustrated and hopeless life. The Ballads “Heal Me” and “Living on Addiction” show us clear influences from the 80’s Hard Rock. 
They are melodic and well made songs. 
The last track, “Daring the Dawn”, sounds like Judas Priest’s “Painkiller” aggressive songs combined with modern elements, giving it a very interesting and different atmosphere. 
The Album was entirely recorded at Ematech Studio in Juiz de Fora, the band’s hometown, and mixed-mastered in Sweden by Jorry Torstensson (Draconian), except for the ballads, which were produced by Mauri Moore.

DEFOX RECORDS is proud to announce to have signed a record deal with the cult 80's glam rock hero STEWARTIE ADAMS for the publication of "Alive'n'Kickin" recorded live at the Marquee in London and LYIN RAMPANT with a live recording at the BBC in 1985!
The album is scheduled for October 2012

Glasgow born guitarist and vocalist Stewartie Adams came back home to Scotland after leaving London rockers TYTAN and teamed up with ex HEAVY PETTIN guitarist Eddie Trainer, drummer Tam Creamer (Tam Cramer) and Edinburgh born bass player Georgie Pringle, to form LYIN' RAMPANT, they later added keyboard player Paul Stephens also from Edinburgh, The band eventually split up in 1991 due to the unfortunate demise of Prism records and a number of line up changes.

"Jazz to funk to rock to pop...that could sum up the diversity and depth of Italian guitar virtuoso Steve Saluto. Having recorded with many artists, both known and unknown but all with varied talent, and turning his hand to production along the way with his own production company and recording studio, he is also a well graced figure known to Italian magazine readers and TV viewers.

'No Good To Me' is a funk driven, well structured little ditty taking its inspiration from the likes of Living Colour and Dan Reed, a catchy enough choral arrangement and decent vocal and then it's more of the same on 'Your Love' - neat and tidy melodic vocal passages combine well with the just right in the mix guitar parts. This young hombre can certainly piece together a tune perfectly and this is quite evident on 'Angel', a Hendrix slant to affairs on this slowed down track, again a good chorus and production and flowing use of the six string, scratching away underneath all of this is a slight Prince thang too. 'Velvet Sky' has all of the aforementioned influences mish-mashing to create an okay song. Great guest artists it should be mentioned on board this project include Doug Wimbush (Living Colour), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake) and (Cacophony) drummer Atma Anur.

The class can definitely be heard on the opus 'Hey Jimi', a nod of his Italian hat to "The Maestro" Mr Hendrix.. groove and feel aplenty on this dedicated...READ MORE HERE "

Steve Saluto es un reconocido artista italiano que en el entorno del rock ha logrado buenos objetivos, como por ejemplo haber hecho una banda llamada La Famiglia Superstar junto a mi estimado amigo Terry Ilous de XYZ y hoy en Great White, Marco Mendoza de Blue Murder y Whitesnake, y Atma Anur, baterista de Richie Kotzen y Doug Doppler, entre los que recuerdo. Mientras que ha tenido roces laborales (musicales) con otro amigo Michael T. Ross (Lita Ford, Angel), Richie Kotzen y el argento Oni Logan.

Justamente para esta edición, Mendoza y Anur vuelven a aparecer, al que por su parte para el lado más groove aparece otro negro con sangre funk en las venas, el mismísimo Doug Wimbish de Living Colour y Mick Jagger.
“Brown Eyed Soul” es una combinación de rock, funk, hard rock y soul en perfecta armonía.
El compacto arranca con “No Good For Me” con unos efectos sonoros que por un instante me recordó a “Tom Sawyer” de Rush, pero al desarrollarse la canción cambia completamente, siendo un detonante hito con mucho groove y algunos grititos ala Michael Jackson.
Marco Mendoza es quien está a cargo de cantar, tiene un timbre medio y de textura algo gastadito.
Por momentos Marco también me recuerda un poco a como canta Kotzen.
Saluto no esconde su fanatismo por Hendrix con un instrumental llamado “Hey Jimi”, donde el comienzo es parecido a “Little Wing”.

“Just Another” lo noto con influencias de Jon Butcher, otro artista de descendencia afro y excelente guitarrista, bastante hard rockero este track, con mucha potencia. Me gusta mucho el cambio rítmico que hace al minuto tres así como los coros medio disonantes.
El soul toma protagonismo en “Higher”, antepenúltimo tema de este opus, dejando la electricidad a un lado en la mitad de la canción, pero manteniendo la suavidad que lo caracteriza, algo que va tomando candor a medida que se acerca al final de la misma.

Es evidente que Saluto tiene buen gusto por la música, y aun más, profesionalismo por lo que hace, sabe rodearse de otros pro y no solo con este “Brown Eyed Soul”, sino con previas ediciones ha logrado demostrarlo.
Lo que más puedo destacar de esta entrega son las variantes que ofrece.

Hay de todo un poco como explico al principio, y me entretiene a lo largo de sus diez piezas musicales en esta presentación en formato digipack.
