PC-Newton “The Chronicles of CosmoSaint" Eur Records/Aua distribution 2023

PRESS ENG

The visionaries PC-Newton return to the market with a complete album which will also be released in Compact Disc version.

With the previous productions we noticed the clear turn towards space synth prog sounds introducing a new trend and musical genre called "Cosmo Domine", so defined years ago by another avant-garde experimental combo called Father Hollow Graham, precisely for the compositional concept and visionary vision and cosmic settings!

Among the atmospheres you can breathe the incorporeal spirit of TJ Newton, the man who fell to earth. Anyone who has seen Nicolas Roeg's 1976 film with David Bowie understands where the nickname used by our musicians comes from: if they are not aliens, at least they are strange. Note that on the covers the band's name is written in indecipherable characters.

Hidden in the artistic project are two well-known characters from the European music scene, on vocals we find Cosmo Saint and the multi-instrumentalist Paul Electron also known as the Translator!

The intergalactic journey of this artistic project is a concept that becomes more and more intriguing and slowly reveals to us all the protagonists of this cosmic saga!

The PC-Newton CD will be released on Sunday 25 February 2024 and will be available on the website https://auashop.com/defox-records.html

MEDIA PREVIEW Listen:

Musica Follia:

"Paul Electron is eclectic and creates a "stylish" modern pop, but also reminiscent (as you hear in Berlin Blues Theme) of the blues and sixties, in addition to the electronic parts he also plays acoustic, electric and bass guitars while Cosmo Saint continues to change and reinforces the vocals with a medium higher register with the refrains showing off a deadly shot"

Eurockerz:

"The creative songwriting of the PC-Newton duo continues their idea of sonic innovation and leads to an adult and mature compositional EP, which further evolves into pop rock sounds. In the three songs, for the first time, you can hear a slight synthesis of the experiences of the two artists who come from new wave and rock."

Best Star:

"This Ep contains all the essence of a project that does not want to be relegated to the rear of oblivion, PC-Newtons offer a continuously mutant and progressive sound, difficult to fit into a genre of sub-genres, I'm sure it can satisfy the tastes of a certain elite of fine palates but also of many fans of good music"

Virgin Music

"Cosmo Saint plays the blues! This piece by PC-Newton surprises, which opens up to new atmospheric solutions and recalls the cold Berlin to give an extraordinarily new sound, atypical, mysterious and not at all glacial."

MEDIA LISTEN anteprima

Musica Follia:
