La storica band italiana AXE HERO, tra le pionieristiche formazioni Hard 'n' Heavy della scena nazionale, annuncia con orgoglio l'imminente uscita del nuovo singolo "Dream the Universe" sotto l'egida di Heart of Steel Records.

"Dream the Universe" è una ballad, un viaggio attraverso la consapevolezza e la maturità, dove l'amore si manifesta nella sua forma più pura, consolidata e rassicurante. Le melodie potenti e raffinate del chitarrista Dave Moby Laperni si fondono con i testi evocativi di Mirko DeFox che celebrano una natura incontaminata e vitale, riflettendo la profondità emotiva e la crescita artistica che hanno sempre contraddistinto gli AXE HERO.

Nati ufficialmente nel 1981, gli AXE HERO rappresentano una delle prime espressioni dell'Hard 'n' Heavy italiano. La band, guidata dai fratelli Galliazzo - Mirko DeFox (voce) e David Johansen (batteria) con Dave Moby Laperni alla chitarra, Paul Blondie Gidoni al basso e Dave Ian Valle alla chitarra - ha tracciato un percorso ineguagliabile nel panorama rock tricolore, collezionando successi e ricevendo riconoscimenti internazionali grazie a una serie di demo e produzioni discografiche che hanno fatto la storia.

Con una carriera costellata di momenti memorabili, come l'uscita della celebre demo "Brainstorm" del 1983 e le infuocate esibizioni live accanto a leggende dell'heavy metal italiano, gli AXE HERO hanno lasciato un segno indelebile nel cuore degli appassionati. AXE HERO – Il passato incontra il futuro, il sogno diventa realtà.

BIOGRAFIA: Gli AXE HERO sono nati ufficialmente nel 1981 e sono certamente una delle prime Hard ’n’ Heavy metal bands apparse in Italia. 

Costituiti dall'asse portante dei Galliazzo brothers, Mirko DeFox alla voce e David Johansen alla batteria, con Fabio Pico Piccotin al basso e Paul Blondie alla chitarra e tastiere debuttano con la prima demotape intitolata "Drive in metal", registrata artigianalmente in sala prove raccogliondo i primi tiepidi riscontri dalle primordiali fanzines, tra le quali Fireball e Hedbanger. Nel 1983 esce la prima vera demo intitolata "Brainstorm" registrata con un otto tracce analogico in uno studio di Padova che contiene due songs che ricevono subito complimenti entusiastici, i brani si intitolano "Lovin'Japan" e "Country side" con la band che si è stabilizzata con Dave Moby Laperni alla chitarra e Fabio Pico Duarte al basso. 

Grazie al supporto di alcune radio locali, quali Radio San Bonifacio, Tele Radio Veneta, Radio Stella, Radio Stereo Superstar e Radio Atestina, ma anche Radio Peter Flowers di Milano, inizia un intensa attività live che porta i nostri ad aprire come gruppo "spalla" le serate a personaggi del music system televisivo come Jo Squillo e Garbo. Dopo poco tempo sull'onda dell'entusiasmo la band pubblica una nuova demo tape intitolata "It'Rock (Against all)" che riscuote importanti e positive recensioni su tutti i migliori Rock magazines dell'epoca, da ricordare "Metal Forces" considerata la Bibbia metallica britannica, "Shock Power" zine tedesca condotta da Alex Gernandt (che poi diventerà capo redattore della celebre rivista patinata "Bravo"), su "Barst" e "Metallian" in Belgio, "Metal Brigade" in Brasile e Rockerilla in Italia. Il gruppo si guadagna un ottima fama live grazie alle performances agli heavy metal fest di Padova e Verona assieme a gente come i Crying Steel, Hocculta e Devils Claws dove viene presentato uno show molto shockante, con la band che adotta un look trasgressivo e due modelle seminude.

Nel 1985 gli Axe Hero vengono contattati dalla label americana, da Waukegan, Illinois la King Klassik Records (Hellcatz, Wrath) che invita la band a partecipare con un brano alla compilation di nuove bands emergenti. Il duo dei Galliazzo brothers recluta il vecchio e fidato Dave Moby alla chitarra in coppia con l'ex Captain Kill (in seguito Xipe) Piero Albanese e al basso Cesco Laperni, con questa line-up entrano nei prestigiosi Space Station studios ed incidono la canzone "Come back". Nel frattempo oltre oceano la rivista "Aardshock America" tributa a Mirko De Fox la palma di migliore vocalist europeo in campo Hard and Heavy.

Il disco della label americana non vedrà mai la luce, la società che la gestisce fallisce ed il brano viene così incluso nella demo tape "3°act" (1986) la prima a nome X-HERO, ma questa è un altra storia!

Mexico City, [March 30 - 2025] – Following the success of the renowned band XIPE TOTEC, winner of a Mexican Grammy, musician and composer Martin Martinez unveils a bold new musical project: TLAOCOLCUICATL. This Mexican duo of Melodic Prehispanic Death Metal emerges as a fusion of existential lyricism and pre-Hispanic sonic traditions, creating a unique blend of modernity and antiquity. DEFOX RECORDS, HEART OF STEEL RECORDS and SPITFIRE MkIII announce with great pleasure the new record of the hystoric Italian band, with release scheduled for Sept.30th 2022.

The album, recorded and produced between June 2021 and June 2022 at the Opal Arts Studio by

Fabio Serra and mastered at the Pri Studio by Roberto Priori, is titled SHADOWS PHANTOMS NIGHTMARES and includes 12 unreleased songs (11 in the digital version), all original composition and some of which, such as Gangs Fight, Phantom Barrow and Screaming Steel, dated back to the 1980s.

The band, born as a quintet in 1981, became a quartet from 1983 to 1985, and then from 1986 took on the definitive trio structure, which is all that is needed to play rock'n'roll.

SPITFIRE MkIII - Giacomo “Giga” Gigantelli voice and bass, Stefano Pisani guitar, Luca Giannotta drums - with this new album they return to their roots with their classic metal in NWOIHM style; now, as mature but always essential musicians in the choice of arrangements, they have managed to bring together many years of experience in a tracklist full of suggestions, free from gender constraints but always faithful to the spirit of the first Italian metal.

This record, which follows 2010's Time and Eternity, already from the title reveals to be an almost concept album, in balance between old horror films and modern fears, between Hollywood and the hell of the many shadows that obscure the horizon daily. The power trio from Verona city has been able to maintain a balance between the classicism of metal and more current sounds, without losing the "true metal" spirit, which has characterized its long history, as demonstrated by songs like “Earthquake”, “Phantom Barrow”, “Screaming Steel” and “Sign of the Times”, that perhaps best define this alternation of styles. Although one of the songs that best identifies the spirit of the “new” Spitfire is “Beauty VS Beast”, the perfect bridge between past and present.

BLACK CAVE - The virus is there - DeFox Records/Heart Of Steel Records 2022

DeFox Records and Heart Of Steel Records announce the second album of BLACK CAVE, a music project from Brazil. The album entitled "The virus is there" contains ten songs in vein into the primordial Heavy Metal of the Eighties, the roughest and wildest one, where Paulo Destroyyer sings in English and plays all the instruments.

The product will be launched on the digital market on March 15th and will be distributed in major stores such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, Google Music, Youtube Music and many others.

Paulo Destroyyer Maia is a singer and musician based in Petrópolis, a popular Brazilian tourist destination in the Rio de Janeiro region.

The visceral love for the wildest metal rock has led him in a recent past to play with Abomination Wide, a trio that made its worldwide debut in 2016 with Invincible Records, putting on the market the EP entitled "Hypocrites Must Die" containing five dedicated songs. to a ferocious thrash and death metal.

The BLACK CAVE art project sees Paulo Destroyyer playing all the instruments and introducing himself as an one man band. The sounds within this album are attributable to Heavy and recall the primordial frontal attacks of European metal band of the early 80's and in particular of NWOBHM.

The songs of "The virus is there" were recorded and finalized in Petropolis, a town near Rio thanks to the collaboration of some partners who supported Paulo in this artistic adventure, the Morozesk guitars and the Hs Stomp pedalboard.

The EP titled “Out of sight” contains 3 songs, a kaleidoscope of evolving, hi-tech, adult pop and avant garde progressive sound. The songs invent a cinematic scenario that refers to the visionary concept of Cosmo Saint's epic.
A literary drama likely to hit bookstores in 2021.

DeFox Records and Heart Of Steel Records are really proud to announce the second instrumental solo album of guitar wizard Ricky De Camargo.
The album titled “Maverick” contains seven instrumental songs featuring guitar riffs, vibrant solos and magnificent keyboards sound.
Guitarist Ricky De Camargo lives in Brazil and he has played in some rock and metal bands from his country, he love Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Bumblefoot and all rock guitar masters!
The release will be published in September 25th - 2020.

This will be Ricky's second Instrumental Solo Album. In this record, Ricky bring us the same concept of rock, prog rock and many guitar lines. Everything very well mixed with orchestral arrangements. The album has 7 Instrumental Tracks. All writen and arranged by Ricky in his studio. The record process took around 3 months from start to finish.

Ricky played, programed and recorded all the guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, synths solos and orchestral arrangements. A truly one man band project. In this album, Ricky put all the best songs that came up during the pre-production. Making a perfect balanced record.
 
The opening track "Maverick" it's a orchestral/prog-metal tune that it's divided in two parts. The first one it's more metal and direct. The second half give us the taste of prog-metal, with odd time signatures, dark riffs that switchs during all the second part, meanwhile synths solos runs during the next two minutes.

The next track "Lifestream" it's a ballad in Dm (Re minor). It's a track about overcome depression and keep going.

The third track "Sunrise in your Eyes" was recorded in honor of the Asians. People that Ricky has the greatest respect and admiration.

"Full Throttle, the fourth track, is a more direct rock song on the album. It is about doing the best you can in what you do in this life.

"The Angel's Choir", it's the fifth track from album. It's a more Gospel tune, with several choirs arrangements and several time signatures changes. 11/8, 7/8 and 8/8 to be more precisely. Ricky also wrote the Synth Solo that we have in this one.

The sixth track from "Maverick" it's "Twilight". A track that Ricky wrote many years ago.
According to ricky, he always tried to improve his guitar technique in front of his house watching the sunset.
That was the inspiration for the track.

The last song on the album is "Shadows Will Fade Someday". A complete song from the orchestra with many changes of tones.
To complete the album, Ricky wanted to have a song that would challenge him technically and theoretically, in terms of composition.
Then, after days and days of composing, he finally achieved a harmony that fulfilled the requirements he intended for this song.

DeFox Records and Heart Of Steel Records are thrilling to announce the metal warriors called LECHER their debut album it's entitled "Castle Of Hallucinations".
The release date is September 30th.

Lecher from Sorocaba, Sao Paolo, Brazil were born in 2007, originally the band was formed by Diego Alquezar and Sergio Willian, the intention is to play the aggressive and direct Heavy Metal, with technique and heart.
After several changes of the line-up, joined the band Marcelo '' Zé Bolha '' Machado (formerly Alcoholikiller, Skyrunner) and Juliano Costa (formerly -Prepared to Kill and Warshipper).
Rodolfo Nekathor (ex-Zoltar, Lost Graveyard) joined the band in 2009, reinforcing the band that is now ready.
After a trial period, Rodolfo Nekathor and Sergio Willian left the Lecher and Juliano Costa took down and became the lead singer.
In 2013, Alex Aquino (ex-Fire Diamond, Excalibur, Prepared to Kill, Retaliation and Speed ​​Metal Hell) was invited to enter the line-up, giving back to the band two guitarists and forming a classic quartet.
Today Lecher are considered one of the main forces of the Brazilian national heavy metal.
This year Lecher have signed a promotion agreement with the Steel Metal Press of Sao Paolo, an agency owned by Luis Carlos Domingos, singer and leader of the Krull.

Through our partnership with YouTube, our Music Videos will be automatically available on the new service to YouTube. 

YouTube will create ‘Art Track’ videos out of our sound recordings. Art Track videos fill in the gaps to ensure YouTube has a complete Music Video catalogue of out all releases. Our Music Videos created for the releases, YouTube will prioritize these over Art Track Videos.

YouTube Music will first be available in USA, Mexico, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, with the following territories launching too: Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom
