BLONDIEFOX

BlondieFox are the singer Mirko "DeFox" Galliazzo and the multi-instrumentalist Paul "Blondie" Gidoni.
They animated the Italian rock scene of the 80s with the band "X-Hero" (legendary name of european  metal rock music) recording several demotapes, an album (1987), a 45 rpm vinyl format (2010) and various appearances in CD compilations. At the beginning of the 1990s, the desire to change artistic direction, inspiration and the pleasure of creating new music dragged the duo to found the BLONDIEFOX project.  The music draws from rock without barrierss mixing experimentalism and passion that is outlined in the drafting of songs full of atmosphere and energy.

The duo composes and records numerous auditions in Mirko's private studio and some of these favorably hit the well-known producer and singer Franco Serena (Serena Band, Ragazzi dai capelli verdi, Nuvole di paglia, Cosmos 2000 ...) who proposed them for publication on the label specializing in reprints and progressive rock called "Mellow records".
The "Agua" CD is produced and printed which contains 15 remixed tracks in collaboration with another well-known producer and publisher, Aldo Menti in his Valdagno studio (Vicenza).
The disc receives warm consents also due to the scarce distribution in stores, this reason is due to privilege mail order targeted only to amateurs and collectors implemented by the Sanremo label.

The unstoppable creative vein of BlondieFox transports them to Aldo Menti's "White studios" that wants to produce a new album, 10 new songs are recorded with as "special guest" guitarist Roberto Benna.
The album that should have been published by "Tring International" (the label that launched the CD "Linea Azzurra" with famous names like Le Orme, Rettore, Drupi, Bennato, Fogli ....) is instead "frozen".
In this work, rock and melody merge with thoughts full of reflection and depth, technological atmospheres that break down every sound barrier, fantasy and technique no longer secret towards a progressive and universal music.

It should be noted that Mirko is invited by the producer Mauro Moroni to present a cover/song in the quadruple CD of tribute to the Italian rock progressives of the 70s, BlondieFox choose the song "Neve calda" of Balletto di Bronzo.
In the Tributes also many foreign groups appear (American, Japanese, English ...) the product is packaged in a wonderful deluxe package, a precious "Gem" for collectors.

After more than twenty years, Mirko DeFox decides to publish with his label several unreleased recordings remained for years in the drawer !!

The first product to see the light is an EP with 6 tracks entitled "Il triste canto dell'uomo bianco (The sad song of the white man)" where the themes and texts, written by four hands by Mirko and Paul, in a moment of great inspiration around 1996, in a manner sorpendente almost prophetically anticipate the existential, environmental and social problems that today are daily news.

The first digital release of DeFox Records/Go Down Records is THE ROCK'N'ROLL KAMIKAZES NEW ALBUM titled "ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE"! Out on digital market on APRIL 28!

Like all good pilots, the Kamikazes do not give up in the face of adversity and have come bouncing back with a new album, "All Kinds Of People" on Go Down Records (the Kamikazes fondly call GoDown the new Chess Records).
It's bluesier, its harder, it shrieks like Screaming Jay Hawkins and growls like Howlin Wolf and there's even a track written and sung by Guy himself! (Tutti i Venerdì).
The album introduces new recruit Eugenio Pritelli, guitarist and frontman from the wild psychobilly phenomenon The Horrible Porno Stuntmen! His razor-edged telecaster twang gives the band a new harder sound, and high-lighting their punkier roots.
With this varied and explosive line- up The Rock'n'Roll Kamikazes have set their sights on the target.
No, it's not a simple aircraft carrier but nothing less than world domination.

The album is the fuse and the band is the bomb.
They are primed and ready and there will be no turning back.
The Kamikazes are ready to explode in public.
They will dive bomb your dives and disjoint your juke-joints; shake your shacks and rock your socks and pants off!
A divine wind of Rock'n'Roll will blow upon the masses!

DEFOX RECORDS and HEART OF STEEL RECORDS are happy to announce a debut album of  TEZZA F oneman project of amazing italian singer and axemen, Filippo Tezza.

The album titled “The Message (...A Story Of Agony, Hope and Faith...)" contain 12 songs, inspired primarily by major bands of the worldwide melodic metal scene, including Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Stratovarius...

The releases will be available in every worldwide digital stores in 20th February 2013!

“Tezza F.” is a one-man-band that was founded in 2006 by Filippo Tezza (also mastermind of “Silence Oath”), who played in thrash/power metal underground band “Soul Guardian” (dissolved in 2012) as singer and guitarist.

Filippo, with this solo project, expresses his lasting passion for power metal, melodic metal and symphonic metal and so he can experiment sound solutions without any kind of limitation.

During 2006 and 2008, Filippo completed respectively the first and the second “Tezza F.” demo-album (“Fire Still Burns” and “Winter Of Souls”), recorded at home, without external help.

Both albums showed a clear base of melodic power metal, with guitars, bass, keyboards and vocals played by Filippo (programming a drum-machine for the drums), with a long running time, but they were recorded in a poor way.

In 2007 Filippo also created his second solo creature: the symphonic black metal one-mand-band called “Silence Oath”.

During 2008 Filippo began the composition process for the next album, completed in 2011.

It is a long concept-album in which Filippo tells a story, invented by himself: a tale touching personal and interior topics, with some autobiographical references inserted in a spiritual context.

For this new record, Filippo decided to make things more seriously, so he called his friend Nicolò for recording the album.

The new record, after one year and a half of recording and mixing in the home studio of  Nicolò, was finally ready in June 2012.

It is entitled “The Message (...A Story Of Agony, Hope and Faith...)” and it has got a higher sound, technique, songwriting and recording quality; all is more accurate than the past, also due to Nicolò’s help (who also recorded three guitar solos on the songs “Wings Of A Tragedy”, “This Shining Flame” and “Outside”).

As usual, the drums are played by a drum-machine, properly programmed by Filippo; in the same way, also some orchestrations are programmed by him, giving a symphonic feature to the record.

In the four long years of gestation occurred to compose and record the new album, Filippo had meanwhile written and accumulated new material in power metal style, with various influences, destined for the “Tezza F.” project or for the now dissolved “Soul Guardian” band; this material probably will be used for a possible fourth album.

The music of “Tezza F.” is inspired primarily by major bands of the worldwide melodic metal scene, including Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Stratovarius, Manticora, Rage, Iced Earth, Edguy, Nightwish, Avantasia, Dream Theater. Instead the lyrics are very different, facing topics like spirituality, human feelings, the loss of a loved one (a topic especially faced in the last concept-album), love, war, modern society, hope. There are also epic and heroic lyrics, inspired by fantasy or history.
