DEFOX RECORDS e QUEEN RECORDS sono orgogliose di annunciare una nuova collection della leggendaria rock band italiana SERENA ROCK BAND, il titolo è "Metropolitan Blues".
La release contiene 10 canzoni tratte dalla lunga discografia della SRB, scelte da Franco Serena per omaggiare le sonorità blues, che fin dagli esordi hanno caraterizzato il sound della band italiana.

L'album uscirà in versione CPD Format (Creative Packaging Design for a Better Music) con CD a tiratura limitata, con alcune copie autografate, un prodotto per veri amatori e collezionisti di gemme pregiate. 

Il prodotto digitale sarà distribuito in oltre 240 paesi nel mondo e in 120 digital webstores, inclusi i Big del settore come Itunes, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, Google Music, You tube Music ...

La collection "Metropolitan Blues" vede Franco Maria Serena calarsi nelle atmosfere più calde e avvolgenti, sonorità dove l'espressione, il feeling del blues è desiderio puro e intimo.
In ogni album della Serena Rock Band si può trovare l'essenza del blues più appassionato, magari di estrazione British, ma pur sempre incandescente come il magma vulcanico che contraddistingue questo genere musicale.
Alcuni brani presenti in questa compilation sono capisaldi del repertorio live della band e Franco dimostra di possidere una voce che con quel senso di vissuto, è perfetta per interpretare liriche e melodie struggenti, mentre le performance chitarristiche suonate da Marco Pellegrini, Alex De Rosso e Marco Fanton sono straordinariamente fisiche e possiedono un impatto di rara intensità emozionale.

L'intento di Matteo Favretto aka Mistermat è realizzare un album che non fosse soltanto uno sterile contenitore di canzoni.
Come dice lui stesso "Ho voluto mettere le idee in ordine, ma creatività e razionalità sono in me, in eterno conflitto, ho pensato così di scrivere semplicemente come mi sentivo in quel periodo., gran parte dei pezzi si sono sviluppati in pochi giorni, mi sentivo spontaneo e sereno, nonostante stessi trascorrendo un periodo personale piuttosto agitato.
Blackboard, il brano che apre l’album, parla di un ragazzo in stato di esaurimento nervoso, nella sua mente c’è confusione quasi psichedelica, sa come uscirne ma teme di aprire l’ultima porta che trova davanti a se, e scoprire il cambiamento che essa rappresenta.
Il concept dell’album è un tortuoso percorso interiore, che porta alla propria consapevolezza."

Mistermat continua "Amo molto la musica semplice, con pochi accordi e molta intensità e cerco suoni incisivi, presenti e graffianti. 
Mi sento un musicista rock e blues, tengo alla italianità delle mie composizioni, poiché penso che possa dare un tocco di originalità al mio stile ed al mio genere musicale.
Per questo motivo ho pensato ad un gatto bianco (White Cat) che suona rockblues, balzellando beffardo e senza curarsene troppo tra l’essere italiano e il comporre brani in un genere tra il blues (musica nera) ed il rock (che per certi versi potremmo considerare più occidentale!)
Infine uso il termine Hardblues piuttosto che rock blues, poiché rappresenta maggiormente il mio percorso (ascolto dei grandi musicisti, studio, cover bands in cui ho suonato ecc.) ed anche allude alla mia più grande aspirazione artistica, Essere un vero bluesman!"

Lele Croce (Gabriele Gava) Been Born in 1969 in Treviso, fervent and eclectic composer from the 11 years-old age has to the asset more than 400 songs of various nature, inspired to the rock, although his efforts are geared to build its own "style" rather than close in a default musical genre.
Creative of the project: "Rockfood, music for the palate", musical show that free the Italian cuisine, has had such an it happened by to become an amusing and "appetizing" film-documentary. Lele is director and screenwriter.
Important songs: "Come un fulmine", "Zombi", "After all", "Crudelia", "Shatzy", "Solysangre", "Girasoli", cabet-songs like "Italia coracon" and many others, recognized not only in Italy and prize winners for the high-level of lirycs and music.
Guitarist and singer, plays live with his Lele Croce Gang (Nike Bettiol, drums, Roberto Scala bass'n'guitar'n'voice and Max Gagno, bass 'n' keyboards 'n' choir) and a number of collaborations with musicians of the area as the guitarist Angelo Michieletto, songwriter and musician Alberto Cantone, the great guitar man Tolo Marton (awarded by Jimi Hendrix’s father), the group of German prog rock "The Merlons", the guitarist Ricky Portera (Lucio Dalla- Stadio).
On stage it also aims the mandolin and the banjo, while in recording studio it’s usually recorded all the instrumental and vocal parts. Among his preferred musicians: John Lennon and the Beatles, the Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Sting and Police, the New Zealand musician Kimbra.
