YATROGENY has returned with the new line-up guests Martin Martinez (XIPE TOTEC, ECLECTIC SPAWN): Miguel Angel Angeles and Rogelio Rojas on vocals. A deep voice and a sharp, different shades to make a record with more variations. Melodic Death Metal with keyboard atmospheres, acoustic guitars and harmonies with unison sound delay with elaborate melodies.

The idea of chaos, pessimism, existentialism, absurdity and Hyperborean Gnosis fundamentals are the values for the lyrics of Ouroboros. Perhaps the best YATROGENY production so far ...


Yatrogeny is a melodic death metal band formed by Martin Martinez (Eclectic Spawn – Xipe Totec) and Jorge Sánchez ( ex Kadath) in 1999.
Yatrogeny’s first record was released on Mat Studios in 2000. This would be the first album to be released by Mexican record label Ablaze Recs in 2004. Entitled “Taedium Vitae “, it contains thirteen tracks packed with speed and melody. The album was received quite well in Mexican territory. 
Existentialism and spiritual crisis reign the thematic of the album, inspired by well-known writers such as 
Hermann Hesse and Ernesto Sabato.
Band members that collaborated on this album: Martin Martínez (drums, bass and guitars); Jorge Sánchez (guitars) and Aldo Krilin (vocals).

Their second album, also released by Ablaze Recs, had better guitar performances. The guitar tunings changed to D major, which contributed to obtaining staggering results for melodies and polyphony. 
The lyrics revolve around old medieval heresies; the prevailing rejection of the god of the Old Testament as the old cathars stated.
The same band members of the previous album participated on its recording, with the inclusion of Alejandro Melo on vocals (drummer in Sabacthani –Everbleed).

The third album was released on european DeFox Records/Invincible Records. 
This record was entitled “Radical Pessimism”, and was recorded on Mat Studios in 2010. 
It contains nine tracks, accompanied by prolonged soloing (more so than on previous albums). 
The lyrics delve into the pessimistic philosophy of Schopenhauer, Sakia Muni Buda and Leopardi and Cioran.

DEFOX RECORDS and HEART OF STEEL RECORDS are proud to announce a new album for a legendary eastern Europe band SBS (Spicy bits of Scandal) history begins in the year 1979, in Lithuania.

Their 4th album titled  “Heaven can wait...” contain 15 songs (one of them will be accompanied by a string quintet) influenced of classic Heavy Metal. 
In the album there are some important special guests: the Virtuoso keyboardist Maestro Mistheria and Ferdy Doernberg (Axel Rudi Pell, Rough Silk and many many more), are working with the keyboards.

The history of SPICY BITS OF SCANDAL, also known as SBS, begins in the year 1979, when two guys from Vilnius, Lithuania decided to form a rock band.
In the year 1988 SBS was famous enough to play not only on the Lithuania’s stages but also abroad: in the international festivals in Latvia and after a year in Poland and etc.
1991 was a significant year for the band: virtuoso guitarist Tomas Varnagiris, and the best Lithuanian hard rock vocalist Vitalis Kairiūkštis joined, and the band was on stage again having gigs in the main Lithuania’s cities.
In 1996 SBS released an MC - „Mėnulio Šviesa“.The recording, containing 9 songs, was initiated by Lithuanian label „Pūkas“.
 Although after this record the activity of the band was slower because of the economic situation in Lithuania, the band in year 1999 had a big gig in Vilnius “Karolina” club to celebrate the 20th anniversary of SBS.

After a five years pause, in 2005 the band was ready to rock again. This time specially for the international Lithuanian festival - „Rock Nights – 2005“.The show of SBS was so successful that after the festival the band was choosen to open for ROYAL HUNT in their concert in Vilnius (October 21th 2005), sadly the show was canceled.
But this year was lucky enough: heavy metal monsters JUDAS PRIEST choosed SBS to open for them in their concert in Vilnius (December 3rd 2005.). This show was recorded and in the begining of 2006, released as a double CD „Gimęs laimėti (Born to win)“, including five brand new songs (one of them - „Žaidėjas“ (The Gambler) became a mega-hit) and the concert from „Rock Nights – 2005“ festival in DVD, which was filmed by Lithuania’s National TV.
In “Rock Nights – 2006” festival almost everyone waited for SBS and the show sharing the stage with John Lawton (ex vocalist of Uriah Heep and Lucifer’s friend) was a success again.

In April 2007 SBS released their next album „Tik mėnulio šviesa... (Only moonlight...)“, which was well evaluated by the biggest German webzine „HardHarderHeavy“. The new release got 6 out of 7 and in the REVIEW TOP 15 with 342 votes stood in the second place, after MANOWAR, but was outrunned by PINK CREAM 69 and SAXON.
In 2008 SBS presented their 3rd album “The Gambler”. This album was highly rated by the international media. “Metal to infinity” gave 84 out of 100, “HardHarderHeavy” – 6,5 out of 7 and hailed the band with the phrase “SBS, Europe awaits you !!!”.., “Metal Express Radio” – 8,5 out of 10, “Metal Observer” - 8,5 out of 10 points. Webzine “Progressive rock and progressive metal” nominated “The Gambler” to a “album of the month” award.

At the moment the band ended their 4th album “Heaven can wait...” and is seeking for promotion and concerts worldwide. As the mastermind of SBS Vitalis Kairiūkštis proudly announces, this new album is „international“ – musicians from Italy – the Virtuoso keyboardist Maestro Mistheria - and Germany – Ferdy Doernberg (Axel Rudi Pell, Rough Silk and many many more, did the great job with the keyboards. New album is compiled of 15 brand new songs.
One of the biggest SBS projects will be „Diagnosis: SBS“, a rock mystery with a symphonic orchestra that might become a big suprise to the music industry and all SBS fans worldwide.

DEFOX RECORDS and HEART OF STEEL RECORDS are proud to announce the EP of Heavy Metal band DRAWZZNIKK, two roaring female voices from Austria!

DRAWZZNIKK’s latest work titled "WINGS“ contains 4 songs in authentic traditional Heavy Metal style.
The EP will be available in every worldwide digital stores mid January 2013

The band was formed by guitarist Martin Traussnigg who was featured in the GUITAR PLAYER magazine and who also received credit in the reknown GITARRE & BASS magazine. 
Most of all, his classical influence, his technical skills and his songwriting abilities have aided DRAWZZNIKK in their musical progress.

At the front line, it’s two rockin‘ females, Nina Traussnigg and Janine Blumauer, who complement each other exceptionally well. 
Not least by taking part in the‚ Popstars‘ show of the year 2011, Janine has caught attention nationwide.

Almost making it into the finals, Janine chose DRAWZZNIKK over her solo career and has been influential in DRAWZZNIKK’s powerful sound.
It was back in 2010 when DRAWZZNIKK made a furious start, releasing their first demo which was vowed by fans and critics all over the world. What’s more, DRAWZZNIKK appeared on three samplers in the very same year (Randy Rhoads CD Project II, Shredding Skin – Whitesnake Tribute, Musicians for Oil Relief). 

Among countless well-known musicians like Vince Neil, George Lynch, Brad Gillis, Chris Poland, Mark Slaughter and many others, DRAWZZNIKK have made it onto the Ozzy Osbourne tribute album „No More Tears: A Millennium Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne“ which was released in the U.S. in 2012. 
The band also appeared on the first „Metal Monthly“ compilation.
